Guestbook of the website In the street with my laptop (www.streetinfo.lu).
Somewhat sad when I see how many people access this page and how few find it worth to drop a message in my guestbook. Anyway, if you like www.streetinfo.lu or if you simply want to show your support for my lifestyle or the continuation of my site, please, sign my guestbook. Some details, you should consider:
- Sometimes I say to myself that with only 0.50€ per file downloaded from my site, I could have a hot meal several times a week. But, that's not my way to view the Internet, nor the way, I have chosen to live like. All stuff on this site is, and will ever be, entirely free. Thus, your little message in my guestbook is the only recompense for hundreds of hours of work, that I can hope for.
- Please, show a minimum of respect by using my guestbook to let some comment concerning my site and for nothing else. Other people's guestbooks are not there to make publicity for your own or third party's business, products that you sell or similar. Anyway, any message, that I consider to be inappropriate, will immediately be removed!
- I would prefer that your messages are in English, even though French, German or Luxembourgish aren't an issue. Messages in other languages risk to be removed (except, if I'm sure about their exact content).
- Please, note that your email will always be hidden to those who view the guestbook. Also, I'll never use it to send you any messages, that you wouldn't want to receive.
- My guestbook is hosted at Free Guestbook by UltraGuest.com. The free version of their service, that I actually use, includes ads. These may be placed at the guestbook page by them and without any possible influence of mine. They must not be seen related to my personal convictions, or suggestions.
In the hope that you find on my site, what you are searching for, I would appreciate if you find some minutes to give me some feedback (and if it's just a smiley) by signing my guestbook. Thanks in advance.
Changes to guestbook policy.
During May 2025, there were more and more parasites, who used my guestbook to post inappropriate content with links to other sites, that have nothing to do with computer science, mostly sites that try to convince you to buy some stuff that, probably, you get for free or cheaper somewhere else. As the guestbook configuration settings don't give me a possibility to block their content, I decided to change the way how posts in my guestbook are published, turning on administrator approval, i.e. when you make a post, it is saved, but it will only be published if I have explicitly confirmed to do so. Sorry for that, but it's the only possibility to get rid of those people, who have never heard about the word "respect", who live by profiting from others, by hurting others. Dirty stinking parasites, in the literal sense of the word!
