Electronic structure of atoms and ions.
Download EConf desktop application (Windows 64bit) | Download EConf source code (Lazarus/Free Pascal) |
Description: Chemistry exercise generator concerning the electronic structure of atoms and ions: For a randomly
selected element, with or without charge, the user has to find the electron configuration, i.e. the number of electrons in the different
subshells, as describes the Aufbau principle. Concerning data input, note, that for your convenience, you may separate the subshells by
a space: e.g. 1s2 2s2 2p4 for oxygen.
Help concerning the electronic structure of atoms and ions as well as help how to use the program is included.
Free Pascal features: Basic controls. Reading data from a text file (classic Pascal). Records and arrays of records
(classic Pascal).
